These 4 things affect how a diamond looks and how much it costs:
-
Cut – Impacts sparkle. Go for Excellent or Ideal if you can.
-
Color – Grades go from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). For Natural Diamonds, near-colorless (G–I) gives great value. For Lab Grown Diamonds you can get great value from sticking to the higher color grades (D-F)
-
Clarity – Measures tiny flaws. VS and SI clarity stones are the best value for money
-
Carat – Refers to size/weight. Bigger isn’t always better—it’s about balance!
